Position Overview
Swift Public Adjusters is seeking an Field & Sales Representative to sell our services to current and prospective clients and inspect property damage claims in the Omaha, NE market. This remote position requires in-person client outreach, relationship building, and on-site property inspections across the Greater Omaha region. The ideal candidate brings proven sales experience, hands-on field adjusting knowledge, exceptional multitasking abilities, and systematic follow-up skills — and excels at guiding clients through the claims process from first contact to settlement.

Compensation
  • 30–60 day probationary period
  • Starting draw against commission: $50,000–$65,000 annually
  • Uncapped commission potential
  • Seasoned professionals average $150,000–$250,000 annually
  • Business expenses covered

Key Responsibilities
Client Development & Networking
  • Build and maintain a network of sources to generate qualified sales leads
  • Identify customer needs and pain points through direct engagement
  • Align service solutions with customer challenges
  • Ensure client satisfaction through transparent communication and proactive support
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with current and former customers
Reporting & Analytics
  • Prepare daily activity reports documenting calls, sales, lost opportunities, and critical issues
  • Provide territorial sales forecasts and market analysis as requested
Partnership Development
  • Conduct educational meetings with referral partners about our services
  • Evaluate claims submitted by referral partners to determine business viability
Direct Sales Execution
  • Meet with residential and commercial property owners to present service solutions
  • Deliver presentations to diverse audiences and groups
  • Use phone and email outreach to gather prospect information and qualify leads
Strategic Planning
  • Design and implement education and sales strategies for prospects and referral partners
  • Establish measurable sales objectives and performance targets
  • Recommend improvements to sales methodologies and processes
Field Adjusting
  • Conduct on-site inspections of residential and commercial properties to document storm and weather-related damage
  • Prepare detailed scope of loss reports, including photographs, measurements, and supporting documentation
  • Review and interpret insurance policies to identify applicable coverages and applicable deadlines
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers, contractors, and other parties throughout the claims process
  • Maintain accurate and timely claim files in company systems throughout all stages of the claims process

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field OR two years of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Public Adjusting License required (must obtain within 1 month of hiring if not currently licensed)
Preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance claims and processes
  • Construction industry experience
  • Cold calling experience
  • Multi-family property management and property owner connections
  • Existing referral networks in the Omaha market
  • Comfortable working on roofs for property inspections
